NHL commissioner Gary Bettman on Monday discussed the league’s ruling earlier in the day that allows players to return to their off-season homes — including Europe — amid the worldwide coronavirus outbreak.
The NHL’s latest move came a day after the CDC recommended no public gatherings of more than 50 people for the next 60 days.
“We think it’s good that you stay in place, and that’s what our clubs are telling the players — the ability to have the resources of the club available to you is a positive thing,” Bettman said on u2066SiriusXM NHL Network Radio.
