Before the Avalanche’s healthy players practiced at high tempo for one hour on Sunday, coach Jared Bednar said injured center Nazem Kadri and winger Andrew Cogliano went through a skating session.
Kadri and Cogliano sustained right finger injuries in Games 3-4 of the Edmonton series, respectively. Kadri was checked from behind by the Oilers’ Evander Kane (who was suspended one game) and Cogliano was injured while blocking a shot.
Bednar said Kadri and Cogliano did not carry a stick during their skate.
Are Kadri and Cogliano ruled out for Wednesday’s Game 1 against Tampa Bay in the Stanley Cup Finals?
