Colorado Avalanche fans got a bit of a scare on Thursday when Sportsnet’s John Shannon reported that Nathan MacKinnon had undergone an MRI on his foot and could be missing for the 2019 All-Star Game weekend in San Jose. As of right now, it is unclear whether MacKinnon will be able to participate in the weekend festivities, or even if this could keep him out of NHL games once the team gets back in February.
