Yesterday was World Kindness Day, and of course it dominated social media feeds. The Carolina Hurricanes twitter account @Canes devoted an entire thread to saying something nice to every other NHL team. The Colorado Avalanche got “Thank you for being our best friend” with a heart.
Some other hilights included “@NHLFlyers No mascot is as terrifying and fun as @GrittyNHL” and “@FlaPanthers We think you are PURRFECT” followed of course, by the cat emoji.
