Perhaps the biggest non-game news yesterday for the Avalanche was this: it appears the standoff between Altitude and DirecTV has ended:
According to Jim Martin, CEO of KSE, Altitude Sports has reached a multi-year agreement with DirecTV. The deal ends a two-month dispute with the distributor that prevented Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche fans from being able to watch their teams. [Mile High Hockey]
The Avs also played hockey last night, it wasn’t a great one.
In the press conference at the end of the game, coach Bednar spoke about readiness out of his players and starting on time.
