Colorado Avalanche forward Matt Duchene was named one of the NHL’s Three Stars of the Week on Monday.
Duchene, 24, tallied four goals and four assists to lead Colorado to a 3-0 start to its seven-game road trip last week. For his efforts, he was named the league’s first star.
On the season, Duchene has eight goals and six assists in 17 games. Twelve of his 14 points have been recorded in the last seven games.
Rangers forward Mats Zuccarello was named the NHL’s second star, while Toronto goaltender James Reimer was the third star.
