NEWARK, N.J.—Changes are coming to the Colorado Avalanche lineup for it’s contest Tuesday at the New Jersey Devils. With the Avs playing the second game of a back-to-back set on the road, there will be a new infusion of rested bodies when the club takes the ice at Prudential Center at 5 p.m. MT.
Forward John Mitchell, sidelined since Nov. 14 with an oblique injury, will make his return to action after missing the last seven contests.
“It’s good. It feels 100 percent now,” Mitchell said on Tuesday morning. “I’ve been able to practice four or five times now.
