Landes-gone? What if the Colorado Avalanche DON’T re-sign their captain?

It is hard to picture Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog in a sweater other than the burgundy and blue. Go ahead, try. If you really want to cause yourself some pain, picture that sweater being in Red Wings or Wild colors. Not pleasant.

There are a number of reasons for this. Landeskog has never spent a minute of his NHL career in another uniform, having been drafted number two overall by Colorado in 2011. He debuted the very next season and won the Calder trophy.
