EDMONTON, ALBERTA — Surely at times this season, Jared Bednar has felt like a bit of a mad scientist trying to find the right formula from his forward group outside of his potent top line of Nathan MacKinnon, Mikko Rantanen and Gabe Landeskog.
Secondary scoring has been an issue for Colorado, and Avs coach Bednar was hoping Tyson Jost could give his team a big jolt Sunday night against the Edmonton Oilers.
Jost returned to the lineup Friday and scored a goal in a 5-2 loss to the Winnipeg Jets.
