The San Antonio Rampage are the Avalanche’s new American Hockey League affiliate, and new Rampage coach Dean Chynoweth — who held the same position for the Lake Erie Monsters in Cleveland — did a 14-minute interview with team broadcaster Dan Weiss. The piece was published Saturday on YouTube (I’ve been on vacation). Chynoweth covers a lot of ground, and certainly doesn’t appear to be a candidate to replace Andre Tourigny on Patrick Roy’s big-league staff. Chynoweth, 46, is an NHL head coach in the making.
