Spotlight on: Flames LW Matthew Tkachuk
The 19-year-old son of former NHL star Keith Tkachuk returned to the lineup in the Flames’ 3-2 overtime win at St. Louis on Saturday. He was coming off a two-game league suspension for throwing an elbow to the head of the Kings’ Drew Doughty. Matthew spent time in the National Team Development program in Michigan, played major junior for the London Knights and was the No. 6 overall choice in the 2016 draft. He has 13 goals in his rookie season.
