After a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Coyotes Sunday night, the Avs (17-17-2) head on the road for a quick game against the Sharks (17-15-2).
The Avs played a solid game Sunday, peppering the Coyotes' goaltender Anders Lindback with 39 shots, but ultimately, those shots only transferred into one goal and with a breakaway goal in overtime, the Coyotes escaped Denver with the win and the extra point. The Avs will have little time to lament Sunday's loss, as they head to San Jose Monday to take on the Sharks.
The Sharks haven't played since last Tuesday when they defeated the Kings 5-3.
