After serving on their Olympic Team two years ago in Sochi, it was pretty safe to assume Gabriel Landeskog would be a participant on Sweden's 2016 World Cup team. On Wednesday morning, it was announced the Colorado Avalanche forward would join Tre Kronor with national team mainstays like Henrik Zetterberg, Niklas Backstrom, and the Sedin twins, as well as other rising stars in the NHL, such as Filip Forsberg and Alexander Steen.
Sweden's biggest strength, though -- by far -- is it's defensive group.
