PITTSBURGH — Avalanche captain and left wing Gabe Landeskog will return from a two-game suspension Thursday night and rejoin the Nathan MacKinnon-centered line against the Penguins at the Consol Energy Center.
Previously, Landeskog missed just one game in his last two seasons.
"It's been a while since I missed games so it was definitely different to sit up in the press box. I'm excited to get back into it," Landeskog said after the morning skate at Pittsburgh's downtown arena. "When you sit up top, you see things a little differently, so maybe I've learned a thing or two that I can implement tonight.
