Frei: About those obnoxiously late NHL playoff game start times...

Pat Foley was right.

The long-time Blackhawks' television play-by-play broadcaster, working the Chicago-St. Louis playoff game Thursday night, went on a brief rant to analyst Ed Olczyk about the ridiculousness of the late starts in the series.

It's important to note that Comcast Corporation owns NBC, and NBC Sports was carrying a feed from Comcast SportsNet Chicago, using the Blackhawks' regular announcers, a routine occurrence during the first round.

When Blues goalie Brian Elliott held on to the puck with 11:55 left in the third period, and as Foley obviously was being told to set up the commerial break, he said:
