Some of you are aware that I've been feeling very pessimistic about the Avs lately. Not like I haven't had the reason to, considering the stretch of hockey the Avs have had lately. And since the team is no fun to watch, I figured I'd change up tonight's recap. Usually I do a scoring summary by period, because over the years I've watched the team as a whole. Since I hate losing and want things changed so they start winning, for the first time maybe ever, I watched the individuals rather than the team. Below is a period by period, player by player tally of things that stood out to me.
