Luke Salazar would have one hell of a game recording two goals and two assists, ultimately leading the Colorado Eagles to extending their winning streak to five games with a 5-4 victory over the defending Kelly Cup champions, the Allen Americans.
In the lone visit against the Allen Americans, the Eagles would kick off the game the right way as they would get a flurry of goals right off the bat in the first period coming from Jackson Houck, Luke Salazar, and Jesse Mychan giving the Eagles the 3-0 lead at the end of the first period.
The Americans would push back with a couple of goals of their own in the second period, bringing the score 3-2.
