Eagles Takeaways: Miner earns first shutout as Colorado is one point from first place

Loveland, CO — The Colorado Eagles returned home after a long four-game road trip that took them to Canada and Texas. Colorado could only grab three out of a possible eight points on the trip, which sets them up for an enormous battle this weekend. The Ontario Reign (LAK) is in town and is ahead of the Eagles by two points in the standings. Ontario sits in first place in the Pacific Division while Colorado sits in fourth.

Some reinforcements are coming back into the lineup with defenseman Devante Stephens returning from a lower-body injury.
