The Colorado Eagles scratched back last night against the Texas Stars (DAL) in order to force overtime. Unfortunately, the Eagles fell after a sloppy pass in the neutral zone, leading to a turnover. With the push to overtime, the Eagles are now within two points of first place in the Pacific Division with one game in hand. Even though Colorado has lost three straight, they remain as one of the hottest teams in the division with a 6–2–2–0 in their last 10 games.
Defenseman Jacob MacDonald returned from his unofficial call up to the Colorado Avalanche tonight.
