Loveland, CO — It was teddy bear toss night in Loveland! Last year the Colorado native Nate Clurman made 12,000 bears cascade down from the stands. This year, it was Tye Felhaber that brought down the plushy rain. Last night the Eagles came into the game energized and it showed as they beat the Griffins 4–2. After an 0–15 streak with no power play goals, they finally converted on one last night. The Eagles held their own against a very tough Grand Rapids (DET) tonight, losing in the shootout 3–2. Colorado kept the game even the entire way through, despite the Griffins being first in the Central Division.
