LOVELAND — Yes, there is professional playoff hockey in Colorado this spring, and Denver-area hockey product Collin Bowman is at the heart of it.
Bowman, 24, who played for the Littleton Hawks as a youth before his major junior career with Kelowna, Moose Jaw and Calgary, is a Colorado Eagles' standout defenseman as they chase after the Kelly Cup in the ECHL playoffs.
The Eagles, who won the West Division title in the regular season, fell to the Utah Grizzlies 3-2 in Game 1 of the first-round series Thursday at the Budweiser Events Center, and will try to even up the series Sunday night.
