The Blues lost last night. (What’s new, amirite?) That’s three straight games without a point for St. Louis, and this one might have been the most devastating yet.
After leading 3-1 in the second period, the Blackhawks stormed back to tie the game at 3-3 in the third, and with 8.5 seconds remaining in regulation, Duncan Keith scored on a power play to give Chicago the 4-3 victory.
That’s good news for the Colorado Avalanche (93 points), who enter tonight’s game at San Jose with a one-point lead over the Blues for the final wild-card playoff spot.
