The Colorado Avalanche announced last night that forward A.J. Greer has been reassigned to the San Antonio Rampage. The move clears the way for Nathan MacKinnon to be re-activated in time for today’s game against the Edmonton Oilers.
Greer has tallied 10 points (6g/4a) in 18 games with the Rampage this season, while registering three assists in 17 games with the Avalanche.
Though he’s making his way back to the AHL, don’t be surprised if we see Greer back up with the Avalanche sooner than later.
The 2015 second-round draft pick (39th overall) has been up and down with the team all season and is probably looking for some stability.
