Colorado Avalanche forward Cody McLeod is the longest tenured player on the team and a favorite amongst fans. As an alternate captain, McLeod is looked at as a leader on the ice and in the locker room. He’s not the most talented player in the league, but he’s a guy who battles and sticks up for teammates.
McLeod spent most of the year on the fourth line with John Mitchell and Jack Skille, although his linemates rotated as injuries happened and Patrick Roy looked for offensive sparks.
