Colorado Avalanche center Matt Duchene is tearing it up at the IIHF Worlds Championship. He scored a goal in the preliminary rounds and was named an alternate captain. He then went on to score a goal and earn an assist in Team Canada’s 5-1 victory over Team USA:

Duchene’s assist was equally impressive in that it was a short-handed set up for the Boston Bruins’ Brad Marchand’s goal, the fifth for Canada.
