Colorado Avalanche free agency may look like the team making offers to restricted free agents other teams don’t value or can’t afford to pay. The Colorado Avalanche are looking to bolster their lineup, just like every other team. After the lack of offensive production from the 2014-15 season, the front offices may be thinking about picking up a left wing.
The Avalanche already have five left wings. However, Jamie McGinn spent almost the entire season on injured reserve, and head coach Patrick Roy questioned how ready he’ll be to return to full action. Ditto Patrick Bordeleau. The other three are pretty solid — captain Gabriel Landeskog, alternate Cody McLeod and leader Alex Tanguay.
