Colin Wilson provides a steady veteran presence for the Colorado Avalanche, usually being placed on a line with younger players such as Alexander Kerfoot, Tyson Jost or J.T. Compher.
As the team makes its final push for the playoffs Wilson has really stepped up his game with 6 of his season total 26 points having been obtained in the last two weeks.
Although the Avalanche made it to the first round of the playoffs last season, Wilson is one of the few players on the roster who has seen extensive action in the postseason.
