While the weather outside has turned frosty, the Colorado Avalanche are heating up in December – going 6 of 8 despite playing the majority of their contests on the road. With improved neutral zone play and a renewed emphasis on playing a team defense, there’s good reason to believe that the remaining games of 2015 could be leading to a cheerier new year for Avalanche fans.
