Coming into the trade deadline, the Colorado Avalanche had been looking to add to the forward group and they have done just that. The team has acquired Derick Brassard from the Florida Panthers in exchange for a third round draft pick in 2020. It sounds as thought he Avalanche will also receive a 6th round pick as part of the trade as long as the team doesn’t re-sign Brassard this summer.
