Defenseman Chris Bigras, who has missed the last three games with a concussion, practiced with the Avalanche Monday and is a possibility to play Wednesday in the opener of a crucial three-game road trip at Vancouver.
"Today, it seems like it went well," Avalanche coach Patrick Roy said of Bigras. "He's going to have to pass one more test and if it's good, he'll play the next game."
Said Bigras: "I'm feeling better. There's still a couple of steps left in the whole process ... I just have to pass the tests and stuff.
