Chambers: George Gwozdecky, Tampa Bay four wins from Stanley Cup

Former University of Denver coach George Gwozdecky is the only person to win an NCAA hockey championship as a player, assistant coach and head coach. He could soon pad his résumé by winning hockey's holy grail, the Stanley Cup, as the eye-in-the-sky coach for the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Gwozdecky is the No. 2 assistant coach for the Lightning, which pulled out a 2-0 victory in Game 7 against the New York Rangers on Friday to win the Eastern Conference title at Madison Square Garden. Gwozdecky joined Tampa Bay a few months after his April 1, 2013, firing at DU, ending a 19-year run in which he returned the Pioneers to national prominence.
