Colorado forward Carl Soderberg was added to Team Sweden on Friday, giving the Avs a total of five players on World Cup of Hockey rosters.
Soderberg, 30, finished the 2015-16 NHL season with career highs in assists (39) and points (51). He joins Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog on the Swedish squad.
Other Colorado players in the World Cup include goaltender Semyon Varlamov (Russia) and forwards Mikkel Boedker (Europe) and Nathan MacKinnon (North America).
Team Europe, Team North America, Team USA and Team Canada have yet to unveil full rosters.
