We are officially a little under a week away from the NHL trade deadline, and the Colorado Avalanche have made their first move in this week leading up to the deadline. The Avs acquired Ryan Lindgren and Jimmy Vesey, along with defenseman prospect Hank Kempf, from the New York Rangers in exchange for Calvin De Haan, Juuso Pärssinen, and a 2nd and 4th round pick, both of which the Rangers can choose the better of the Avalanche hold in the 2025 draft.
Here’s what I have on full trade. #NYR sending Lindgren, Vesey and D prospect Hank Kempf to COL, plus retaining 50% of Lindgren’s $4.
