With just over a week remaining until the start of 2016 IIHF World Championship, goaltender Reto Berra will look to help Team Switzerland back to the podium at the tournament.
Berra, who helped his home nation to a silver medal three years ago, joined the Swiss squad for training camp on Monday.
During the 2015-16 campaign, Berra appeared in 14 games for the Colorado Avalanche and ended the season with a 5-8-0 record, .922 save percentage and 2.41 goals-against average.
The Bulach, Switzerland, native missed nearly two months after suffering an ankle injury in late December and finished the season with the San Antonio Rampage, Colorado’s American Hockey League affiliate.
