After scoring six goals and adding an assist in three games last week, Avalanche captain Gabe Landeskog was named one of the NHL’s “Three Stars” of the week on Monday.
The 25-year-old left wing earned the first star after he led Colorado to a 2-0-1 record on the road last week. On the season, Landeskog has tallied seven goals and three assists. His plus-10 leads the NHL in the plus/minus category.
Oilers center Connor McDavid was named second star and Golden Knights goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury was the third star.
