Avalanche’s Gabe Landeskog can be an NHL all-star with Last Men In vote

The Avalanche had two players named NHL all-stars in forwards Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen. Now their linemate has a chance to join them.

Gabe Landeskog is the Avs’ representative in the NHL’s Last Men In ballot, a fan vote that will add another player from each division to the all-star game.

The 26-year-old team captain is third on the Avs points (45) and shares the lead with Rantanen for most goals (24). If he wins the vote, it will be the first time Colorado has had three all-stars since 2004 when Rob Blake, Joe Sakic and Alex Tanguay were named to the roster.
