Avalanche center Carl Soderberg, who missed Tuesday’s practice because of illness, went through the morning skate and will be in the lineup against the torrid Philadelphia Flyers Wednesday night at the Pepsi Center. At least initially, he will center the fourth line, with Andreas Martinsen and Cody McLeod.
Soderberg said he hadn’t had the same bug that struck several Avalanche players on the recent four-game road trip.
“I’ve had a cold the past week,” Soderberg said.
Center Joe Colborne, who also missed Tuesday’s practice, won’t be available because of a lower body injury.
That means the Avalanche has 12 available forwards, and there will be no healthy scratches against the Flyers, who have won nine in a row.
