The Colorado Avalanche have reportedly signed forward Gabriel Bourque to a PTO, giving Colorado their second PTO player in as many weeks. The club also signed veteran Rene Bourque to a PTO last week.
The 25-year old Bourque fits what the Avalanche have targeted all summer as he is a buy-low guy with upside and as a PTO player, will have to be at his best during training camp in order to earn a contract and have a shot at staying in the NHL this upcoming season.
Bourque played just 22 games last season for the Nashville Predators due to an upper-body injury, registering 1 goal and 3 assists in his time in the NHL.
