EDMONTON, ALBERTA– Connor McDavid is highly regarded as the best player in the National Hockey League, but the Avalanche showed the Edmonton Oilers they arguably have the best line in the league.
The MGM line of Nathan MacKinnon, Mikko Rantanen and Gabe Landeskog combined for six points and the Avalanche got some offense from other sources in a 4-1 victory Sunday night at Rogers Place.
Carl Soderberg, Alex Kerfoot and Tyson Barrie scored the other Avalanche markers, while Ty Rattie scored the lone goal for Edmonton.
