ST. PAUL, Minn — Bruce Springsteen ended his Monday night "River Tour" concert at the Xcel Energy Center in time for the successful conversion to the hockey configuration for Tuesday's morning skates and later the Avalanche-Wild game.
As always with The Boss, who never floats through a concert as if it's, say, the 58th game of a regular season, there was some doubt about whether the ultimate showman would leave the stage before it officially was Tuesday morning.
So the Avs and Wild had a tough act to follow.
