Avalanche goalie Semyon Varlamov didn't contest the decision to allow San Jose's go-ahead third goal to stand Sunday in the Sharks' 4-3 win.
"They saw the replays," Varlamov said.
Colorado coach Patrick Roy had tried a coach's challenge on the play, and when it was confirmed that the Sharks' Tomas Hertl wasn't guilty of goaltender interference, the Avalanche lost its timeout.
Varlamov, making his third consecutive start, had 28 saves.
"I think the team played very well today," he said. "They played really strong all three periods and were focusing. I feel like we were really close to winning this game.
