The Nashville Predators, who are scheduled to host the Avalanche on Thursday, announced Wednesday they have six players and four coaches on the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol list.
Thursday’s game is still scheduled to take place at Bridgestone Arena, and a Colorado spokesman said the team’s charter remains on schedule to depart Wednesday afternoon. The NHL currently has 58 players and staff members on the COVID absence list and four games have been postponed since Monday, including three involving the Calgary Flames.
The Avs also have a player on the COVID list in defenseman Devon Toews, who was added Tuesday before Colorado’s 4-2 win over the visiting New York Rangers.
