San Antonio Rampage
The San Antonio Rampage started the week with a two-game road trip in Southern California and dropped both contests. The Rampage fell 6-2 to the San Diego Gulls on Wednesday and lost 5-3 to the Ontario Reign on Friday. The team returned home to start a four-game homestand, which opened with a 2-0 shutout over the Grand Rapids Griffins on Sunday.
On Wednesday, forward Mikko Rantanen registered an assist to set a new rookie points record for the Rampage with his 51st of the season. Defenseman Cody Corbett scored a power-play goal in the third period, his third AHL marker this campaign.
