DENVER — After a 3-0-1 road trip, the Avalanche was back at the Pepsi Center on Wednesday night to play the quick, elusive Tampa Bay Lightning. It was Colorado's first home game since Oct. 13, when it blew an early 2-0 lead and fell to the Calgary Flames in overtime.
"We don't want to let our foot off the gas," Avs defenseman Tyson Barrie said after Wednesday's morning skate. "We learned from that game against Calgary. Obviously, we want to be a good home team. That's our goal. We had an off game against Calgary, but that's in the past.
