Altitude TV will move forward in its antitrust lawsuit against Comcast after a Colorado federal court ruled in favor this week of allowing the case to continue during the pandemic.
Comcast had requested a six-week extension of a court-ordered stay that delayed the initial sharing of evidence between parties, as Altitude alleges Comcast is attempting to monopolize sports programming in the region with unethical business practices.
On Wednesday, U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael E. Hegarty sided with Altitude’s request to begin a limited discovery process, according to online court records. Hegarty wrote: “I find Plaintiff’s suggestion to be modest and supported by the needs of the litigation.
