Local fans of the Avalanche, Nuggets and Rapids had a glimmer of hope in December when Altitude announced plans for a new contract with Comcast to end the years-long TV blackout.
Fans are still left in the dark.
Nearly four months have passed since the Kroenke-owned regional sports network said it “would make a revised offer to Comcast in advance of mediation” amid its ongoing antitrust lawsuit against the cable giant. But a late-February mediation session failed to provide a resolution and the parties are not scheduled to meet again until June 2, according to the latest online court filings.
