KANSAS CITY -- Indians skipper Terry Francona provided a few injury updates ahead of Wednesday's series finale against the Royals in Kansas City.
Brandon Guyer exited last night's game after fouling a ball off his left knee and collapsing in the batter's box. Initial X-rays came back negative, and while he's out of the lineup on Wednesday, he's largely doing fine.
"Shows up today, he's just sore," Francona said. "He got a bruise, it's kind of below his kneecap, above his shin there on the top of his shin.
