Indians draft prep catcher Naylor at No. 29

CLEVELAND -- The Indians sat out the first round of the MLB Draft last year. The club was much busier on Monday night, aligning its board to prepare for four selections on Day 1 of the 2018 Draft, giving the Tribe the ability to cast a wide net.

With their top overall pick, the Indians took catcher Noah Naylor with the 29th overall selection in the first round out of St. Joan of Arc Catholic High School in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Naylor is the first catcher picked in the first round by Cleveland since 1976.
