The Cleveland Indians season is underway and their biggest free agency pickup has been off to a great start. Yonder Alonso has put that new swing back to good use and has displayed his power more than once.
Alonso started off 0-for-4 in the opener and the hot takes were piping hot. He came back in game two and showed why the Indians signed him to fill the power void left by Carlos Santana.
With a 1-0 count, in the top of the first inning of game two of the series, Alonso barreled up a fastball from left-hander James Paxton.
