Ernie Clement went 2-for-4 and Daniel Johnson reached twice but few others stepped up for Columbus in last night’s loss. Scott Moss struggled through 1.2 innings, though the bullpen behind him faltered as well.

Box Score · Clippers fall to 16-21
Scoring 10 runs is supposed to be enough to win a game, but that wasn’t the case for the Clippers on Wednesday afternoon. It was an ugly day for the Columbus pitching staff as journeyman starter Kevin Herget allowed eight runs (six earned) in four innings and every reliever allowed at least two runs except Anthony Gose, who was the only pitcher to keep Toledo off the board.
